Luxury Car Condo Coming to Overtown

Luxury Car Condo Coming to Overtown

More developers are targeting Miami’s luxury car collectors with a new luxury car condo coming to Miami’s Overtown neighborhood. AutoHouse is a seven-story posh car storage facility with 45 units. Located at 375 Northwest Seventh Street, the project will feature an exclusive “Collectors Club,” found on the penthouse level. According to a recent article from The Real Deal, unit prices will range from $350,000 to more than $1.5 million.

Owners at AutoHouse will have access to their units via a 24-hour, secured lobby with car elevators. Custom unit options will include wet bars, audio-visual systems and other “man cave” features. The social club will be designed by ID & Design International and will include indoor and outdoor spaces with views of both Overtown and downtown Miami. There will also be private dining and board rooms, a lounge, a Formula 1 simulator, and wine and liquor storage. Developers on the project include Louis Birdman and Jay Massirman, and Synthesis Architects is designing the project.

“In major cities, people don’t have the room to store their 25-car collection, so they have to either trust third-party garages or bear the burden of managing their own warehouses,” said Massirman on the recent demand for “upscale” storage.

Other luxury car storage projects are popping up in other areas, including Gables Auto Vault in Coral Gables. This five-story luxury car storage condo will features units that hold anywhere from six to 20 cars and range in price from $500,000 to $2 million. In Sunny Isles Beach, developer Gil Dezer is taking the luxury car storage concept to a different level. Porsche Design Tower, a residential property, will include the exclusive Dezervator, a car elevator that delivers vehicles directly to a resident’s “sky garage.”
