Shoma Group CEO lists Coral Gables Moroccan Mansion

Masoud Shojaee, president of award-winning Miami real estate development company, Shoma Group, has just listed his Coral Gables estate for $15.9 million. The Moroccan style home hits the market amid his messy divorce from wife Maria Lamas Shojaee, according to a recent article from The Real Deal. Maria Shojaee apparently filed a motion to sell the home last April when she initially filed for divorce, however Masoud Shojaee, objected to the sale at that time.

The estate is located at 515 Casuarina Concourse in Coral Gables and features eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms plus two half-baths. The 12,492-square-foot home was built in 2003 and is situated on a 1.62-acre lot. In addition to the home itself, which is compared to a Marrakesh palace in the listing, the property also includes outdoor pavilions that are connected by walkways, with a tennis court pavilion that is hidden behind hedges.

The Shojaees were married in 1984, just before founding Shoma Group in 1988. The company’s current projects include Eleven on Lenox, the South Beach townhouse project planned near Lincoln Road, and two condominium towers at Oasis Park Square Doral.
