The highly anticipated 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House will break ground tomorrow, and the developer has reported that 65% of the units are already under contract. The six-story boutique condo-hotel project is located in Mid-Beach and will feature 70 large studios and one-bedroom suites. Three Argentine developers and architects, from Urbis Real Estate and Domus Group, joined forces to work on the project. Prices will start at $267,000.
“The price is inexpensive and available to people who want a second home,” Pablo Hoberman, of Urbis Real Estate, recently said. “They can either use the unit all year, or for just one month a year, then during the remaining 11 months we manage the residence so the buyer makes money on rentals. Buying a new property in Miami Beach that makes money instead of costing money is very appealing.”
Amenities will include a rooftop pool, gym, and water wall. Fully furnished rooms will include an iPad with apps for the concierge and valet parking. Original local art will also be featured throughout the rooms and lobby, as part of a contest with Miami’s Bakehouse Art Complex. Another perk of becoming a resident is that Starbucks has recently reached an agreement with developers to open a store on the ground floor.
The condo-hotel development will be completed by summer of 2017.
