The Miami-based developer, Melo Group, has just finished construction on their latest project, a 38-story condo tower located in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The Bay House has just 165 units, and according to a recent article from South Florida Business Journal, all but two penthouse units have sold. The building is located at 600 N.E. 27th Street, and units range in size from 1,581 to 1,720 square feet, with the penthouses getting up to 3,512 square feet. Bay House is just one of more than a dozen new residential projects in Edgewater, which is one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Miami.
In a press release, Melo Group Principal, Carlos Melo, stated that the “Bay House introduces a new standard of luxury living to East Edgewater as the area transforms into a thriving residential neighborhood.” The tower is comprised of only three-bedroom units that all feature private and semi-private high-speed elevators, flow-through layouts, floor-to-ceiling impact resistant glass, premium appliances and finishes, and spacious terraces with direct bay and city views. Building amenities include a 20,000 square foot resort deck that houses a swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor lounge, bbq pavilion and cabanas. According to Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, managing partner of Cervera Real Estate, the exclusive sales and marketing brokerage, “Bay House’s ideal East Edgewater location, unbelievable bay views, and unique all-three-bedroom floorplans set the development apart in this competitive market.”
Melo Group has completed 14 projects in Miami, including five in the most recent development cycle. They are currently working on a 647-unit condominium project, Aria on the Bay, which will be located in the heart of Downtown Miami’s Arts & Entertainment district. This 53-story luxury tower will be designed by Arquitectonica and will feature prime bayfront location with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami Beach skyline. Completion is slated for 2017 with construction kicking off this summer.
