Plans for the much anticipated private club at One River Point have finally been made public, and the amenities promise quite a draw. With the launch of sales approaching, the Rafael Viñoly designed, 60-story condominium unveiled the rendering last week. Developer Shahab Karmely has dubbed the twin-tower project “ultra-luxury urban resort living,” and with features like an 85-foot waterfall, a three-story, floating glass skybridge, and the 55th floor “Sky Club,” it’s easy to see why.
According to a recent article from The Real Deal, Karmely gave a sneak peak of the development to a small group of about 60 brokers at a luncheon. He also made available about 10% of the project’s 350 units, with the remaining going on sale to the public in mid-November. “This is Rome along the River Po. This is Havana in the days of grandeur. This is Shanghai. This is urban living in Miami,” claims Karmely.
The members-only Sky Club, modeled after other international ritzy private clubs like Beijing’s Jockey Club and London’s Soho House, will feature two restaurants, a cigar lounge, wine cellar, screening room and much more. The 35,000-square-foot space will include three levels of amenities, including a 10,000 square-foot skybridge club garden and terrace. In addition to the many amenities, members will also have access to 25 club suites for guests.
“Nothing like this exists in Miami,” Karmely said.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2016. Units will range in price from $750,000 to $12 million, with penthouses and villas priced higher.
